Cindy Pedlar
Business Manager
Cindy earned a degree in Biochemistry in 1991 from Brock University. She continued her education to become a Certified Dental Assistant, graduating with honours from St. Clair College in 1993. Enjoying dentistry, Cindy continued in school earning her Registered Dental Hygienist Degree in 1994 with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario. Cindy has worked with our office since the early 90’s, taking time off for school to expand her skills including dental hygiene care, research and development, and office management.
Cindy enjoys spending time with her children and family, skiing, biking, swimming, and gardening.
Darlene Santoli
Office Manager/Treatment Coordinator
Darlene entered dentistry as a Certified Dental Assistant and began her employment with Dr. Pedlar in 1993 as a dental receptionist. Her knowledge of dentistry and practice management software has allowed her to train dental offices and teach at a private college in Burlington. Her passion is taking an active role in managing patients’ health.
Her favourite pastimes are her husband and children, shoe shopping, reading, and spending time with her grandson Jack.
Erin
Receptionist / Treatment Coordinator
I started coming to see Dr. Pedlar at the age of 4 and have never seen another dentist. I studied Dental Office Administration and graduated from CIMT college, and now have the privilege to work with Drs. Anderson and Pedlar and their amazing team.
When I am not in the office, I like to spend time with my family outdoors. I enjoy taking walks, playing baseball, swimming, and spending time at our family cottage all year round. I look forward to meeting your family and helping them receive the best dental care possible.
Tami
Assistant/Receptionist
Tami graduated from dental assisting school in 1984 and joined the office in 1988 as an assistant/receptionist. She left the office in 2006 for self-employment. She has recently returned to work alongside Darlene at the front desk. Tami has enjoyed returning to her position with many of the same coworkers. It has been like coming home!
Tami enjoys cooking, shopping, walking, and spending time with her adult children.
Kathy
Registered Dental Hygienist
Kathy graduated from George Brown College as a dental assistant in 2000 and worked for Pedlar Dentistry as a Dental assistant in 2005. In late 2005 she began her dental hygiene education graduating in 2007, is registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario and an active Ontario Dental Hygiene Association member. Kathy takes pride in continuing education, and in addition to her passion for dentistry, follows her passion for mental health. She was on a brief sabbatical from dental hygiene to attend McMaster University full time graduating June 2021 with a BA in Health and Society specializing in mental health and addictions. Kathy is currently taking her post-graduate master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. Kathy is passionate about providing the most up-to-date dental hygiene and dental care.
Outside dental hygiene and working on her master’s degree, Kathy enjoys spending time with her two boys. In addition, Kathy loves the great outdoors in the summer, working out, paddle boarding, hiking, biking, and expanding her cultural diversity through travel. While traveling, Kathy loves to learn about different cultures and cuisines.
Linda
Registered Dental Hygienist
Linda first came into our office as a patient at the age of two. As an employee, she has filled a number of positions over the years, first as Certified Dental Assistant and now as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She has working experience in both periodontics and family dentistry.
When she isn’t in the office Linda keeps busy pursuing a wide variety of interests which include fitness, crafts, travel, and along with her husband, cheering on their boys while they play a variety of sports.
Nicole
Registered Dental Hygienist
Nicole earned her Dental Hygiene Advanced Diploma in 2018 from Niagara College. During her time at school, she was a consistent honour student, involved in many volunteer work experiences, and a recipient of the Leadership Award. Nicole is registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario and a member of the Ontario Dental Hygienists Association. As a registered dental hygienists, Nicole would like to utilize her skills and knowledge to achieve or maintain her clients optimal oral health.
Outside of work, Nicole likes to spend time with friends and family, try different foods, and travel to experience different cultures.
Robbi
Registered Dental Hygienist
Robbi was born in Coventry, England and has been living in Ontario for over 30 years. Robbi began her career as a dental hygienist in 1989 after graduating from the University of Birmingham in the UK, with a diploma in dental hygiene. She is registered with the college of dental hygienists of Ontario and has been an active member of the Canadian dental hygiene association for over 25 years. As a registered dental hygienist Robbi strives to work with her clients in a collaborative manner to help achieve not only a healthy, confident smile, but sustainable overall health.
Outside of dental hygiene, Robbi and her husband have two daughters. Robbi is a huge foodie who loves cooking, baking and entertaining, and when time allows- she definitely loves to travel!
Barbara Drysdale
Certified Dental Assistant Level II
Barb graduated as a Certified Dental Assistant and began working with Dr. Pedlar in 1993. In 2002, Barb completed her Level II training and now helps the hygiene department with our children and adolescents. She enjoys working with patients utilizing her bleaching techniques, as well as clinical assisting.
Barb has a lifetime love of biking, running, and camping in the great outdoors with her husband, daughter, and Australian cattle dog, Foster.
Laura Luneberg
Certified Dental Assistant
Laura graduated from dental assisting school in 1992 and has been an active member of the Ontario Dental Assistants Association since she had the pleasure of being part of Dr. Pedlar’s team since 1995. Working here provides her with new challenges every day, which keeps her job interesting.
When she is not at work, Laura enjoys being at home with her husband and two children. She is an avid walker, which provides her with social time, as well as exercise.
Nancy Martin
Certified Lab Technician
Nancy entered dentistry as a Certified Dental Assistant from Sir Allan MacNab High School in Hamilton. She proceeded to work at Rotsaert Dental Laboratories as a dental ceramist for ten years. Nancy has studied with Willi Geller, Dr. Robert Winter, and Lee Culp to name a few. She studied part-time at McMaster University and night school courses at George Brown College in dental technology.
Aside from work, Nancy has a great passion for skiing. She supervises and runs the development racing program for children from age seven to ten years old at Craigleith Ski Club in Collingwood. Along with skiing, she enjoys playing tennis and biking.
Tiffany
Registered Dental Technologist
Tiffany is a graduate from the dental technology program at George Brown College. She has successfully completed her RDT licensing exam in 2015. Tiffany is trained in multiple aspects of dental technology and is always interested in learning new techniques.
When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her son and husband, fishing, and shopping.
Juneo
Dental Technician
Juneo graduated from the dental technology program at George Brown College in 2015.
He trained in multiple disciplines of dental technology. Juneo routinely updates his education by working with new techniques and materials.
When he is not working, Juneo spends his free time with his friends and family, and enjoys playing competitive games online.
Katie
Certified Dental Assistant
Katie joined our team professionally in 2018, although having been a patient since she was four years old. Katie has a degree in Hospitality and Tourism from the University of Guelph and had a successful ten-year career in that field. In 2017, Katie chose to dive into the dental field and completed her CDA Level I and II. She was presented with the Class Ambassador Award nominated by her peers. Katie enjoys working with people and making them feel comfortable throughout their treatment.
Growing up, Katie was a competitive gymnast and competed for Team Ontario. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with friends, family, and of course her beloved chocolate lab Harley!
